"Stopped In with my daughter in search of an amazing Calzone between Clearwater and New port Richey, Montys pizzeria, where have you been all my life!? AH-MAZ-ING!!!! Not only was the Calzone made to perfection but it was made with love and care. Cheeses blended perfectly and not overbearing, meats high quality and not overly salted, you could cut it and it kept form and didnt fall into a play doh mess, amazing craftsmanship!! Service was excellent, greeted with a smile as we walked through the door and drinks served promptly, recommendations offered and details given on what I ordered. Not to mention attentive care as soon as my drinks was just about empty a gentleman refilled it for me promptly Will be returning again and look forward to trying more items! Especially all you can eat spaghetti Sunday nights! 🍝"

"Native Pennsylvanian here, living in Florida for 11 years. Pizza down here just isn't the same, but this place is an exception. After years of driving by, I finally stopped in and was not disappointed. The pizza was fantastic, rivaling what I'm used to from back home. Highly recommend!"

"I know, 5 stars might be a bit much, but I was impressed by the family atmosphere, the daily specials that include an all you can eat pasta day, the value ($4.75 for a bottle of Peroni in 2026 is not bad), and the Pizza. It's just not my kinda dough. I like chewy, hearty crusts of the Baguette variety better than the white bread crust they are serving here. I am also a bit of a stickler when it comes to classic pies. A Margherita should represent the Italian flag, with crushed and/or fresh tomatoes, fresh mozzarella (di bufala), and whole basil leaves. The Margherita here consisted of chopped basil, a tomato sauce, and a mixture of cheeses that covered the pie. No doubt, I liked the tasty pizza, but a classic Margherita it wasn't. I would have liked to see some local beer on draft and if it is only to support local businesses. Still, 5 stars because it is a busy neighborhood Italian that feeds the community with a variety of Italian staples and flavorfull affordable pizza."
